The Failed Heart Apron and YouTube
So for those of you who don't know, I have decided to start posting to a YouTube Channel. Starting with this learning experience of a project. My YouTube Channel will have it's own Tab in the header once I finish working on creating artwork for it.
I am thinking that I will do a lot of companion posts and provide sort of 'behind the scenes' kinds of posts, as well as get some feedback from you guys on what you would like to see and how to improve. Also you'll probably get the first scoop on videos I am working on here on the blog, sense it takes a long time for me to completely edit videos.
Here is the the Video:
And Yes, I also think I am awkward in the introduction. Which is why it kind of abruptly switches to just voice over... I hope to get more comfortable on camera soon. Although it was fun to edit it and write out a script for the voice over, even if it doesn't fully sound natural.
Now on to more about this sad excuse for an Apron. So like I've said in my video, I feel that I have been humbled by it failing. It's a sign that I need more experience. And what better way to show improvement over time than before and after photos? So here are more of the sad frump it has become... for now that is.
Now the bottom half turned out alright, its super basic and doesn't currently have pockets. So I think I'll finish off some pockets on it and leave it at that. But I hope to come back to the heart apron design and hopefully make a full one later with the help of a pattern. I think that it will be fun to compare the two aprons.
That's all I have for now, so I guess it's time to put the chairs in the wagon. Thank you for Reading and Watching! Let me know what you think!
