At about 8:50 or so, my mom left for her hair appointment so I got to filming. I did my skincare and rolled my hair. I usually roll my hair the night before, but I decided to do it last minute for the wedding reception that I had to go to tonight.
Then I made fudgy brownies. It is a really easy recipe I found on Pinterest a while back. It is from neighborfoodblog.com. I highly recommend it if you like a very fudgy brownie. It is not cakey in the slightest.
After the brownies came out of the oven, I decided to try re-organizing my dresser. It slowly evolved into me also cleaning the closet and under the bed, until I had a couple plies of trash, before I even adjusted the stuff on top of my dresser. I recently got back my VCR, which meant that I had to completely reorganize the dresser top to accommodate it. I have 6 snow globes, two tea cups, a Nintendo switch and other miscellaneous nick-knacks that live up there, so it was quite the jumble. But now it is in a state that'll work for the moment.
I worked on cleaning up until an hour before the wedding reception, when I really needed to get ready. I used the hairdryer with the bonnet attachment to finish drying my hair. Then I picked an outfit and ran out the door. I didn't film the final getting ready because of my camera battery, and because I was feeling like I was running behind. But after the party, when I got home, I showed off my hair and the mess I left on the floor to the camera.
Honestly this Saturday really was chill. I often feel kinda a tiny bit of pressure on Saturday's to plan out and get started on the next week's video for the deadline I've made myself. And I don't think there should be pressure, considering my videos and blog posts get really low views and no comments or responses. But also because I enjoy making videos and blog posts, but I want to make them good too. I'm always in my own head about things.
Thank you for reading and hopefully enjoying this change of pace. I really enjoyed editing this video and it felt nice to write about my day. Feel free to comment or let me know what you think on all of it.
